ALifecom Donates 5G Base Station Network Emulator to NYCU
ALifecom and NYCU Join Forces to Advance Wireless Communication Technology

ALifecom and its subsidiary have partnered with the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) PACC Lab to donate the ALifecom NE7700 Base Station Network Emulator. This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academic research and industry needs while strengthening Taiwan’s position in the global telecommunications sector.
As Taiwan’s government promotes the "Five Trusted Industries," next-generation communications technology, alongside semiconductors, AI, defense, and security, has become a key focus for future global development. This field includes 5G and 6G networks, IoT, AI, and satellite communications—all crucial for driving digital economies and smart living.
ALifecom specializes in high-end wireless communication testing solutions, with over a decade of expertise in FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and SDR (Software Defined Radio) technologies. Recently, the company secured investment from Qifu Capital, a private equity firm backed by leading Taiwanese tech giants.
The donation ceremony on the 23rd was attended by NYCU faculty, including Dean Wang Li-Jun, Vice Dean Ko Ming-Tao, and other key professors, as well as representatives from ALifecom. This initiative will help cultivate AI and wireless communication talent while driving technological innovation.
Dean Wang highlighted Taiwan’s vital role in the global supply chain due to its strengths in semiconductors and electronic communications. He emphasized that the ALifecom NE7700 is a critical tool for advancing both academic research and hands-on industry training.
ALifecom offers comprehensive wireless communication testing solutions covering 4G LTE, 5G NR, and emerging NTN (Non-Terrestrial Network) satellite communications. Through this collaboration, NYCU can accelerate talent development and seamlessly integrate academic research with industry applications, further enhancing Taiwan’s global competitiveness in wireless technology.
CEO David reaffirmed the company’s commitment to innovation, stating that ALifecom has built a strong global presence through its patented wireless network testing solutions. By providing high-quality solutions at competitive prices, the company has successfully attracted cost-conscious international clients.
CTO HI, an NYCU alumnus, played a key role in facilitating this donation. He also contributed to designing and teaching the university’s "Machine Learning for Wireless Communication" course, where he and his team provided four weeks of hands-on technical training. This effort has significantly improved students’ practical skills and industry readiness.
COO and Board Member Michael highlighted ALifecom’s growing presence in the supply chain of the world’s top three CSPs (Communication Service Providers). With cutting-edge solutions in 4G/5G, RedCap, and NTN, the company has achieved exponential growth. Over the past decade, its customized, high-performance testing solutions have strengthened its position as a trusted supplier to leading ODM, EMS, consumer electronics, and automotive technology companies.
The donation of the ALifecom NE7700 marks a new milestone in industry-academia collaboration. With cutting-edge equipment and corporate support, NYCU’s PACC Lab will continue driving innovation and practical applications in high-end wireless communication technology. Looking ahead, ALifecom and NYCU will deepen their cooperation, building a global industry-academia platform to fuel the future of technology.
